WEEK OF 8/30- 9/3

We finish chapters 1 and 2 over the next 2 weeks. Chapter 2 includes learning about the Digestive system, which is quite fun. We'll even take a quick look at the Frog's digestive tract.



SO, the big assignments: your lab report on the Buffer Lab is due Friday, 9/3. You have a chapter 1 quiz on Monday, chapter 2 questions due on Thursday, and a Chapter 2 quiz on Friday. Finally, you'll have a TEST on chapters 1 and 2 at the end of the week following Labor Day.

Mon 8/30 QUIZ chap 1: START CHAPTER 2. CHAPTER 2 QUESTIONS ASSIGNED FOR THURSDAY.
Tue 8/31 More chapter 2
Wed 9/1 still more chapter 2: READ Lab-- enzyme lab-- for tomorrow
Thur 9/2 Catalase Lab; STUDY FOR CHAPTER 2 QUIZ (all but the sections on digestion)
Fri 9/3 Lab 1A DUE; CHAPTER 2 QUIZ (all but digestive system)

Tue 9/7 Digestive system. HW: read peristalsis lab
Wed 9/8 check out the Frog's digestive tract: peristalsis lab (fun, and no formal lab report- just a worksheet!)
Thur 9/9 REVIEW CHAP 1-2; turn in enzyme lab.
Fri 9/10 TEST CHAPTERS 1 and 2. turn in peristalsis worksheet. HW: read first half of chapter 3 for MONDAY.
