Welcome to Biology!

Okay, I get it... it's summertime. You're not even thinking about Biology yet.

Well, I am. :) I started off the summer by giving my classroom a nice wild jungle makeover (huge thanks to Tori Delaney for helping me make this happen!):

And I've now moved on to setting our schedule for the coming year. Get ready for an awesome class!

Two things to let you know about for now:
1. Your textbook: it's glencoe/McGraw-Hill's BSCS Biology (also known as 'BSCS Blue').
There are tons of copies out there, so try to find a used one and save yourself a buck or two. We'll start with the Prologue, so feel free to read it ahead of time, so you're all ready for class on August 18th:
2. This blog is our meeting point outside of class. Questions about assignments, what's due and when, what we covered when you missed class? Come here. I'll post links to a class calendar and even to the power point lectures we cover in class. Hopefully, you'll never need to wonder what's going on.

Have a great remainder of your summer!
